PRIVATE SWIMMING LESSONS



  • Private lessons will be offered by assistant swim coach Sam Davy, and are intended for individuals with past swimming experience. 
  • The first day lessons can be offered on Monday, June 21st and the final day is Friday, August 6th.
  • To schedule lessons with coach Sam you must first directly contact him at sdavy1@swarthmore.edu

We are excited to offer individual private lessons in the summer of 2021! There are unique challenges to confront in the new world of  COVID19, so please read carefully to understand what this process looks like going forward.

  SESSION TIME OPTIONS  

Time blocks can be broken into multiple lessons, with a 30-minute minimum and two hour maximum for a single session.

30 Minutes: $50
45 Minutes: $70
60 Minutes: $90
90 Minutes: $130
120 Minutes: $160

NOTES:
  • Members must register through the SwatSwim School website
  • Members must fill out the appropriate paperwork prior to participation
  • A lesson time must be set prior to registration

COVID-19 PROTOCOLS:
  • There will be no access to lock rooms. There are two bathrooms available for use, but swimmers should arrive dressed to swim
  • Masks are required for entry to the building, as well as anywhere within the building when you are not swimming. There are small containers available for mask storage near the end of the lane if requested
  • Prior to arriving on campus you must perform a self-monitoring of symptoms. If you experience a fever, or any related symptoms, you must not attend the session and reach out to coach Sam directly.
  • If you are exhibiting any COVID-19 symptoms you must immediately pack your things and exit the facility and the appropriate refund will be provided when necessary. 
  • If you have tested positive for COVID-19 you are prohibited from participating in a swim lesson at Ware Pool until the following conditions are met-
    • It has been at least 10 days from the onset of symptoms or of the date of a positive COVID test, whichever comes first
    • You have been free from all symptoms, including a fever, for the previous 24 hours
